Anyone else use this lure and find the new bottles have a very strong skunk smell? All the older ones I’ve got have a very nice castor smell. I’m sure the new stuff would probably work just fine but seems like a big change to me.

The old original formula had a lot of skunk. It changed. I quit using it. Maybe they went back the original formula. I called him years back. They sent me a new bottle. No skunk in that one either.

Maybe you got a new batch. That skunk smell usually fades away in most lures.i don’t remember it smelling like skunk either but maybe I bought catmando 2.It’s been years ago I got some from Milligan. If I remember he had a catmando 2.I think that was milder in smell.

I've been adding a few drops of fresh essence extra in mine after I noticed there seemed to be less in it the last couple seasons. If it's stronger now I will be very happy
