Not including the tiny keychain type traps, has any manufacturer ever made size 0 coilsprings? Or maybe one designated a No 1 that was exceptionally small?
Thanks for any info.

I've not encountered a coilspring trap smaller than a #1, only longsprings and, possibly, some jump traps. Could be, they are out there, I just haven't encountered any. Wissmiss would be a great person to quiz on the subject.

The smallest current made coil is probably the bridger #1. Stout little trap.

Both duke and victor make a #0 longspring.

Never heard of a 0 coilspring, but there are a number of odd traps that I haven't heard of. I do have about half a dozen 0 jumps. Not a bad little trap for barn rats and gophers.

The smallest I ever used, and the best, was a very compact and flat setting, Victor #1 double coil. It was a very strong and tight trap, made in the 1980's. I think they may have made a single coil for a short period of time also.

I think Triumph Trap Company made an #0 King Bee trap. I think it was a coil spring. They also made a #1 King Bee coil. Which was slightly larger.

I will try to find a picture.

I thought a buddy of mine had a zero coil when we were kids in the early 1980’s. Been a few minutes though, and I may not be remembering that correctly. It was probably a #1

I found a king bee on eBay, for sale there right now. It is a single lever coil.
