Good job….sure sucks you didn’t get footage of it working the set.

It’s hard not to see a “dog” in a wild animal when he’s out there rolling around like a fool!!

Interesting that it's fighting the limb rather than the trap. Many animals will do this if given the chance. I've noticed this often when attaching a trap to a drag such as a thick tree limb or sapling.

What are you using to make him roll in?

I think he was rolling in deer scat or urine. There are a lot of deer that visit this area. The dirt hole is about 10 feet to the left of where he’s rolling.

Awesome. He was more upset with that tree than the trap.

I did get a video of her coming into the set, but it wasn’t worth posting. She came in from the side, sniffed a bit and walked to the where she started to roll in the posted video. The delay on the camera missed her walking back and getting caught. I wish I hadn’t increased the delay time on the camera from 10 seconds to a minute a couple days earlier. But with so many deer coming each evening I was trying to cut down on useless pics. I swear next deer season I’m making a dirt hole set by my tree stand. The deer can’t resist it.
