"Abraham's seed" I supposed it might depend on if you subscribe to the idea of "replacement theology" or not. I don't.
"British Israelims" and some other rather whacky ideas (including replacement proponents) imo, are merely veiled forms of antisemitism.
Thank you. I'm afraid there are many within the church who can't see "replacement theology" for what it really is. The same bunch that would promote the "mark of Ham" if they could get away with it.

I'm still wondering? How does one bless Abraham's seed. By following the Word of Jesus Christ; a direct descendant of Abraham and Sarah. Descendant from the line of Judah. Lots of folks claim a Jewish heritage, but hey don't bless Abraham's seed; rather they despise it and hate it.

Phoney baloney. However it has been genetically proven that 1 in 5 people in Europe are direct decendents of Otzi. Maybe Otzi was killed by a jealous husband then.

Why don't you tell us what you think GS since you obviously think we are off course? Chancey your response came up before I asked again. Thanks for the response. I'm not leading to replacement theology, Jesus was a Jew descendant of Judah . The apostle Paul tells the peaple of Galatia that Abraham's seed is Jesus Galatians 3:16 Gal 3:26-29 say " this is a paraphrase " The faithful are all children of God. If you are baptized in Christ you have put on christ. There is neither jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed. And heirs acording to the promise. This is scripture not my opinion. Paul says the faithful are in Christ and that Christ is Abraham's seed. Bothe Jew and Gentilile . This is the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Messiah who died for all who believe. The seed of FAITHFUL ABRAHAM.

Waggler I'm asking in context of the whole of scripture. Nothing about replacement theology or anything anti Semitic.

I've read the Bible quite a bit, and it ain't there.
On the other hand, it is adamant about Ham being the father of Canaan. It mentions it again, and again, and again.

Whenever the Word repeats itself, we need to take notice. For whatever reason, the Bible speaks badly of Ham and makes a repeated point that he was the father of Canaan. Back in the day, they labeled geography and places and such with the people that inhabited them
Canaan, is modern day Israel. Historically, it was the the area where Joshua and Caleb saw giants. The king of Bashan was a giant. When Joshua went into the land, he was given very specific orders to kill every man, woman, and child, and even the livestock. Joshua failed to do so. And here we are.

No Sir. Not at all. Just making the point that when we fail to do tasks that God gives us, then more than likely it will come back to bite us. That was Joshua's task, not ours.

You are right Chancey, On both accounts, but I'm not sure what the mark of Ham is supposed to be. I'm assuming it's some sort of Doctrine about Canan being cursed and what happened when Ham saw Noah in the birthday suit. It does seem that Noah took on a form of godliness when he became a husband man and drank of the whine of the Vinyard and got drunk. Didn't the serpent tell Eave if she took of the fruit that she would become a god? Hmm. And why did Noah curse Canan when it was Ham who sinned? Does a man have the authority to curse someone. Or whas Noah trying to pass the buck because of his drunkenness? Just like Eave did when she took the fruit?

Phoney baloney. However it has been genetically proven that 1 in 5 people in Europe are direct decendents of Otzi. Curious where you found that? I've read that genetic sequencing of Otzi revealed that he was 92% Anatolian (Turkey/Asia-minor) and modern Europeans don't share any of his DNA, except Sardinians.

I don't know. I've studied Genesis more than any book of the Bible, and I have never got that take from it. I don't believe in the 'mark of Ham' as I can't find it in the Bible. My personal thoughts are that our current narrative is not the real truth of what happened between Ham and Noah and I think it may have been some kind of homosexual attack by Ham on Noah. That's just opinion though. Never have I read in the Word made me think that Noah was acting 'godly'.
As for as Eve goes, that's not how I read it either. Nowhere do I see that she thought she would become God. Furthermore, Adam was just as much to blame in that predicament.
Give Noah a break. After all those days on the Ark with all those animals, kids and and wives, you'd want to go get a drink too.

Like unto God was the lie of the serpent. Like God not God, difference.
The "mark of Ham" has historically been used to say dark skin and the curse to "serve your brothers" has been used by some to defend a form of supremacy.
I'm particularly sensitive to that sort of nonsense having heard it espoused during my younger years, particularly by those claiming scriptural authority. Interesting. Never heard that, but now I know what you are talking about. Yep, absolute nonsense.

Thanks for the correction Worrior, I misspoke . As gods I beleave is what the kjv says. I would agree, I believe in some circles the Mark of Cane has been a belief of the same. If that were the case then I'm afraid a must have the mark.
