I ordered 100 white cedar, and 100 red osier dogwood to plant ...he said april delivery, yellow river nursery by Marshfield I looked into, and won't rule it out, but he doesn't have a website that allows typical online ordering. I placed my order w/ Cadott, WI's Paint Creek Nursery.

DO NOT PLANT CALLERY PEARS! Or whatever name the nursery's are using to fool folks. I don’t think this tree is sold in nurseries anymore. Not under the original name, but, they're still out there!

They are taking over a good part of the scrub land by the highways in Columbus, Ohio. It appears they can out compete everything else in that area. Keith

this is the third year for about 150 trees, so they should be about 6-9 feet by end of summer 2025, that when you know your succeeded, I have been planting around 150 trees now for 3 years before that I would plant 50-100 trees, I agree, it's nice to plant some every year.

I have 250 apples of various varieties on the way that are 2-3 feet. I will buy another 10 locally that are 6-7 feet and should produce fruit next year if I can keep the mice away.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Red Osier dogwood is great for both birds and deer. I ordered that and silky dogwood.
