Bad Moon Risin is another appropriate one, IMO I always gather the Grandkids and ask the DJ to play this song to kick off a wedding party
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Are you and Warrior the only ones who can raise a political issue in a post?
Jim James, As a lawyer, could I please get your thoughts on a few things. Believe I have asked you, and The Other Guy, a few times before. Without answer. 1)What are your thoughts on NY giving a " grace period" after the statute of limitations had been exceeded and then closing the door after the whole Trump- Crazy woman thing was filed. 2) Federal law requires that a Special Consul NOT be a gov employee, yet same Fed who.gave Hunter B the sweetheart deal rejected by a Federal Judge was appointed as such. 3) Is the law being equally applied, or is it partisian Lawfare?

Dave, you make a number of factual assertions I'm not familiar with, one way or another. I'd like to see proof--and I don't mean a link to Fox News or other rightwing network.
BUT: Assuming your facts are true, here's how I'd respond:
1) I wouldn't think much of this scenario, and believe Trump will have a good claim his Constitutional rights were violated, if true.
2) That prosecutors' convictions may not stand, if true.
3) I think the law is being applied equally. This would be hard to prove because no Democrat president ever did what Trump did. But I think a Democrat would be treated the same, if he did the same. There is no real evidence this is a partisan effort.

I’m wondering if we should do Jailhouse Rock in the key of E or D tonight. lol D for Donald. I hope he knows that song; he'd better get used to it. Jim I'd do the song in E, because EVERYONE knows Trump is gonna be president again!!! EVEN James knows it!

Methinks you take internet postings too seriously. We're just stating opinions, after all.

My original post here was facetious. I thought it was a pretty good joke.
I should have foreseen that some would take it personally.

Last physical fight I had was when I was 28, about to graduate law school. Predictably, it took place in a bar. I was too old for such nonsense, but I didn't start the fight.
My buddy and I were shooting pool, and six guys came in, one of them looking for my buddy over a girl. The two of them started in, and then one of his friends sucker-punched me on the side of the head. I fell back onto the pool table. Fortunately the other guys didn't pile on.
My wife was so enraged that all five-foot, 100 pounds of her jumped on the guy's back. He didn't know what to do and started whirling around, trying to dislodge her. By the time two other guys pulled her off, I recovered enough to tag him one. Then, as usually happens in bar fights between unskilled opponents, we wound up grappling on the floor. I got the leverage on him, my left arm around his neck, and began feeding him my right fist. All he could do was thump on my back.
By the time they broke up the two fights, my face and chest were covered with blood--his. My blue shirt looked purple.
I'm now seventy, and find talk of such fights ridiculous. I'd be embarrassed to get in one.
I didn't mean to make you that hot, HT. I apologize for diverting your thread. I don't like it when someone inevitably does that to my threads--which is why I don't start many anymore--so I understand why you don't like it either.
