I hate doing plumbing, but I can't be throwing away money to a plumber if I can do it myself so I grin and bear it. Nicely done keck.

All my small jobs end up being big jobs when it comes to plumbing

Around here you have to do it yourself or literally wait several days for any type of skilled repair.

Try it when there isn't a hardware store ~!!

The thing that makes it tough is that there are so many different materials with different diameters and wall thicknesses. Finding the parts you need that will connect to other parts made of dissimilar materials makes it harder than it needs t be. There should be some standardization

the only thing I know about plumbing is you BEST not start a job; unless you can GUARANTEE it will be finished before the hardware store closes.

Or have a 2nd bathroom. I need to finish the upstairs bathroom work so I can rip the down stairs apart.

I started to put new faucets in the bathroom yesterday, I turn the water
off under the sink, and both shutoff valves started dripping,so i called my
son (who is a plummer) and 1 hour later the job was done.
Wife thinks I did a heck of a job!!

Hots on the left, colds on the right, and you know don’t run uphill.

I did it for a living for a few years. I worked for an oil company and all of our vans were stocked with an abundance of just about every fitting made. BI or copper. Very frustrating to go from that to the multiple trips. Our hardware stores are a lot more expensive than plumbing supply houses. They stick it to you.

Poop flows down hill, don't lick your fingers and Friday is payday.

I have nothing clever to put here.
