Meet Philip John Harrah. This is his 1905 invention, the Automatic Combination Tool (aka Handyman and Hi-Lift Jacks). 4 and 5 generations later, the company is still owned by the same Harrah family, and still produced out of the same factory in Bloomfield, Indiana. 🇺🇸

I used one of my 48" ones to lift up and change the tire on a loaded hay trailer. 5,600 to 6,000 lbs

I have a couple out in the barn.Pay attention when using them.Had one almost break my wrist one time.

I have one I use at the lake for raising my fish house off the ice. Amazingly powerful what they can lift.

The bigger ones were called railroad jacks and when we got west or to Canada we bring o regular sized one along. Save many a trip for us.......jk

Keep a hammer and oil can handy! Not much one cannot life by pondering on it and being safe.
