Jack Sure I used one of my 48" ones to lift up and change the tire on a loaded hay trailer. 5,600 to 6,000 lbs

I keep on in the truck at all times but Jack is right When one of those things decides to git ya- it will prolly leave a Mark. I have a couple out in the barn.Pay attention when using them.Had one almost break my wrist one time.

I have one I use at the lake for raising my fish house off the ice. Amazingly powerful what they can lift.
I don't always carry all my groceries on one arm, but when I do, my keys are usually in the wrong pocket.

The bigger ones were called railroad jacks and when we got west or to Canada we bring o regular sized one along. Save many a trip for us.......jk
