I think the complaint is that it's a watered down form of Christianity... i.e. God loves you so even if you continuously choose to not follow his laws it'll be okay. Edit to add: Oh ok, I just realized there was another commercial by the same people that I didn't see that night that is causing all the controversy. Extremely political. Here is it.
