I grew up in a heavily Danish part of WI and I have no idea why I haven't heard of these my grandmother was half Dane
going to have to give them a try.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

3/4 Danish ancestry here. Ate a lot of them and Ebylskeiva to (I am sure the spelling is wrong). Both were holiday extra special treats when I was young. Maybe once or twice a year......jk

My danish grandmother and German grandpa always Made frikandellen sausage but not meatballs. It was made with Venison pork nutmeg allspice grated onion black pepper salt and A little beer to mix it all up and stuff it into casings loved it! I haven’t made any in years now I am going to make some. Thanks For the reminder. A lot of times, we would just patty it so we didn’t have to stuff it into casings
