Im.notnsure where thenrichnguys are paying high dollar for trapping beaver gut they're not where Jerry is.

He.doesnt do any hunt clubs


A few people.give him 25.00 a beaver but he doesn't ask because he just wants to trap.

If he only did jobs that paid he'd be done checking traps by 11 am and he's not one for.setting around when there's fur to be caught.

Fur value alone with the markets he has he will make over 6 grand on the fur he caught and another 1000 for people paying him.


The people he traps are are grand farmers

I can understand why no one posts trapping threads anymore

Surely not because I suggested that Jerry might be getting paid by landowners to trap.

Nearly all trapping in the southern US is now pay jobs.

When I trapped MS and SC and NC I got paid for some jobs but I always had FREE housing.

Used to be lots of pro trappers. I see nothing wrong with it. Are you supposed to suck it and get nothing in return ? That's means that everyone should throw the fur away or be the end user if they think that way. Which is just stupid.

From what I see-Jerry does it for the fun-that's the way it should be. That is outstanding. Money might be a bonus but it sure shouldn't be the main reason you trap. Now I am talking in season trapping.

Some of us, maybe a very few of us, trap because of the fun of it... but also have to make ends meet so the money is extremely important. I think Jerry would agree.

I'm sure Jerry wasn't just trapping for fun. His target species were all the best paying species. If he were just trapping for fun, possums, coons, and nutria could have been his targets. BTW, heck of a run Jerry and keep after it.

16.checks is 16 days. He checks thwm everyday. The check law is every 36 hrs anyway.

I can just see how people that post trapping threads get discouraged when the receive no posts on the trapping thread they posted, on a trapping website, and Trumps stupid gold shoes gets all the " trappers" attentions.

I can see why posters choose not to post trapping threads.

Their threads either get ignored or some couch bound "trapper" jumps their crap about why they're trapping in this market or they get schooled by the same couch tater trapper on how their sets could be so.much better if.......

I get the frustration.

Yes there's alot of stuff that gets posted on here that has nothing to do with trapping.i laugh at some of the stuff that's posted.KEEP POSTING !!! I enjoy all trapping posts.there is some useful information on posts not trapping related but not all of them.

Hay your posts are READ by most of us. They are real honest and straight forward. Not a lot of gobbly gook mixed in like most authors do. We all appreciate what you do for us by spending the time to post his ADVENTURES.......jk

Most on here can't compare to Jerry amd his trapping efforts.

But, there are a few closet mice trappers on here that are pretty good.

Who opens every post on here? I don't open ones I don't find interesting based on the title. I like it that there are so many different topics.

I’m on here mostly to read trapping posts. Keep on keeping on.

I enjoy the trapping posts, especially from the lesser 48. I actually find them more interesting than trapping in Alaska or Canada.
