You keep the tails nice. Open is key. When I see dried otters with black tails on an otherwise prime otter you know the tail wasn’t fully opened up and fleshed. April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

If more folks shipped catches of otter to them western sales it wouldn’t take long to flood that market as well.

Like mud, I'll probably opt for the belly side for the hind feet...old habits die hard and I've always pulled down the tail side as much as possible to make a longer pelt since prices were tied to length. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

This was the 4th check on much of the line...one more check than what I usually do. Water had dropped quite a bit and several of my footholds were silted in bad, beaver walking all over them! Female went down the drowner and dispatched. Male got caught and managed to pull the drowner end out of the mud and tangled up on the other drowner rod. Had to pull up the stakes and drag everything on shore to untangle it. Took a little while to do. Jordan ADC and Trap Modification

I am a big fan of multiple sets and extended checks at good productive locations. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
