The 40" laker was massive and had to go 30 lbs. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/02/full-40075-209575-received_687889100088849.jpeg) Hutchy. Is that a Georgian Bay/ Lake Huron lake trout ? What is the lake record for lake trout up there ? w

Wow! You eat those lakers? Never tried them, we throw back all that we catch in our little lake, was always told they aren’t very good, mushy meat.

You catch some awesome fish, Hutchy! Commendable that you catch and release. Have you ever had replicas made? I have a 43" pike on the wall that ripped out a gill raker and died when I was 18, and a 29" walleye I accidentally gaffed when I was 17. Lots of ice and I thought it was a pike! Other than that, I'm good with pictures, measurements and memories
