It would seem to me that there are an enormous number of so-called baby boomers on this site, including its owner, Paul Dobbins. Zim and I both fall into that category, albeit eight years apart. When I think of the ages of the fine people I know from this site, I would say that the oldest here are those I respect the most for their experience, knowledge, wisdom and character.

If you don't like "Boomers," there is one here who can give you a permanent vacation from this site.

We need a trapper talk talk show host kinda like Jerry Springer that can commentate and help us understand what is going on.

My boomer MIL in the next room has six great grands thanks to my daughters and a couple more from my nephew. And her mother is still with us.

But you sound more like my parents who were not boomers. They were the silent generation born during the war, 42 for both of them.

Also, those memes were hilarious. I don’t understand the ranching memes. But, I’m sure ranchers do.

You do you Wolf. I don't get some of them but who cares. Also to those whining about being mislabelled, I have never even considered what my generations name is. Apparently by looking at the chart I am a Gen Xer. Didn't know, didn't care.

Thanks. My parents were the silent generation, 42, and I'm gen X, 69. I felt like I was raised by my grandparents generation as my parents were so different and older than the parents of my friends. My impression of the boomers was that of the sixties and was colored by my nam vet father.

And I'm still dealing with the age/generation difference as my two older girls are millennials and the one still at home Gen Z.
