If they're such a great thing, why don't they surround the cities with them? Would be much cheaper to move the juice where they want it. Instead they put them out in rural areas because city folks don't want to look at them either.

They offered $20k per year per generator to landowners that would host them. I'd think it would be hard to make a profit by paying that annual fee on top of the expense of constructing them.

If you buy a EV you should be required to charge it with solar panels then to protect the grid! As long as they are making up stupid rules we can too. LOL

Does anyone remember what happened in Texas when local officials tried to make their county 100% solar and wind?? People in Texas will remember freezing to death and Nearly freezing to death during a winter storm.
