Look'n good John!

I had a trapping buddy growing up. His grandfather would love it when we brought him fresh sucker eggs John. Our cricks would turn black with them back then. Sadly now there is just one crick left where any amount of them run. Suckers and mullets at the same time. We go there still and have a blast catching them. I save them for mink bait some years.

I am very blessed as we catch them right out our back door both mullet and suckers. This first batch will be smoked for eating. The eggs will be a treat for our chickens. When I was a kid too we had folks that would want the sucker eggs for eating. We do eat perch eggs and if I go in the next two weeks before they drop their eggs I'll post those.

Today I hope to but a boat in water and go for walleye and pike.
