Great eating John! I'm over by Skidway Lake, I had some nice pike in the open shallows next to my dock. Lake is still frozen with punky ice
Won't be too long for the sucker run. And crappie in the canals...

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

I have not went for crappie but word is they have been in canals for at least a week. Feedinggrounds I've got a lot of found memories fishing Skidway Lake and camping there.

Are you fishing a tributary to Lake Huron?

We just started catching some monster pike over here in the Door County area. A month ahead of schedule.

Lake Huron in front of a river. This time of the year you catch pike, walleye, lake trout and steelhead. Everything knows the smelt are coming. First spring I only work for myself Lenon Lures, used to work fulltime plus Lenon Lures. Really nice to be able to doe stuff in daylight.

Nice! We get some really nice pike here on Lake Michigan in the ship canal. Some walleyes too.

Pike are my favorite though.

Great pike! Great smile on your face! I think I'll go pull some northern out of the freezer, bone them perfectly and make some poor man's pike for supper! grin

You sure know how to have fun John. One day when I can get away from things I hope to get back to some fishing.
