Will glands from a mangy animal smell different? I got to wondering, animals with mange smell different to my nose just walking up to them, will that smell be present in the glands? I saved some mangy wolf glands this year, but was thinking I should maybe keep them seperate and not mix in with my other glands.

I know positively that coyotes avoid other coyotes with mange most of the time

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Animals with mange have noticeably swollen glands. Sign of infection. I do not use them but have no idea if they would be OK or not.
