If so, what happens within the postal system to a piece of mail that is unable to be delivered? Mail left anyway or kept within post office? If kept within, what happens then?
First scenario.......sent to a vacant lot address......no mailbox or residence, nobody lives there. Fake person fake address.
Second scenario.......letter sent to a real apartment building.....but no such person lives there, no apartment number listed.
Related.......letter sent to an individual.......but address is an RV park or motel.
Related..........letter sent to an individual person, but address is a Taco Bell on Commercial Street? No such person lives there.

Most od those scenarios result in it being returned to Sender. Otherwise it gets delivered to the address and they can return it. a lot depends on how it is sent. registered requiring a signature???
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

If mail is sent registered or certified, post office has to account for it? Either deliver it or return it to the sender?

I had Wells Fargo open an account in my name with a SC address that a lady lived at whom I didn't know.
this was 4/2020
USPS forwarded it to me at my address in WI apparently I am a unique enough name and haven't moved in long enough usps figured it out
Wells Fargo should have been fined another 37 mill for those shenanigans like they were in 2018.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Gets a Nixie label describing the scenario.
Undeliverable as addressed , forward expired, no such number ,no such name , attempted not known, no mail receptacle, and if possible returned to sender !
It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !

So what would happen if it became a federal election requirement that if states want to use vote by mail, to protect integrity of elections, all ballots have to be sent as registered mail? And if cannot be delivered, returned to sender. Then between the local elections office and post office, the two of them have to account for every single ballot mailed out.
Forget the logistics nightmare that might create.......that can be fixed. Hire extras to do the deliveries. Also make sure there are some pretty nasty legal entanglements for any postal workers that deliver mail to a fake voter or address. There can be blind tests to monitor it.

Then howdid Georgia get over 100,000 mail in Ballots from ONE Homeless shelter with less than 500 beds??

Because GA made an uncontrolled mail dump of sacks of live ballots to names listed there, knowing full well there was no such person. Why not? They got away with it. Basically just dumping live ballots out for the demonrats to fill out and return.
What I am proposing is to require these states that insist on doing vote by mail.......to enact some type of integrity to the voting system. Require these states to deliver the ballots as registered mail. Live person whose name is on the ballot has to sign for it. Make postal worker find the actual guy........make him produce an ID what says he is who he says he is. If he doesn't exist and can't be found, all those sacks of ballots gets returned as unable to deliver.
Sent: 100,000 Signed for: 19 Returned: 99,981
Tally has to balance.
And again, tacked on to this........if postal worker says homeless Joe Vet produced an ID and signed for it, and Joe Vet was a planted fake.........no such person.......postal worker in deep doo doo.

Who is going to pay for every registered letter containing a ballot? The person requesting a ballot? Then you'll get the voter suppression outcry because some people couldn't afford it...supposedly. Who will cover the costs of extra postal employees? Rate increases? How would a postal worker know if someone is a fake voter? You want letter carriers to verify ID's? How would that work? Some fake ID's are so good now they can be scanned and come up legit. Much easier if states stop mass mailing ballots to anyone whether they requested it or not. In Iowa, you must request a ballot....they don't just get mailed out in mass.

Election authority that sends the ballots out pays for it. If they want to do vote by mail. If not, run elections traditional way.
Other than burden to postal system, there can be no argument. Assumption is the name in the voter registry is a real live person. If voter is real person, he will get his ballot. If not, he won't
Would love to hear some puke complain they can't cheat like before if they can't dump big sacks of live ballots into public domain to harvest and mark up.

If they want to use postal service to run an election, there has to be confidence it is on the up and up. Send it registered and by the book. Checks are fakes dumped into the system deliberately as a test. Fake voter's ballot not returned.......but is marked up and returned to be counted...........clear evidence of election fraud.

That is encouraging to know. So when they mail out boat loads of fake ballots to fake voters.....ballots that can't be delivered.......you can buy them.......by the truckload?
So much for voting integrity.

USPS is in shambles. Several months ago, I had a registered and certified letter just dropped in the box. You never know if a carrier is a solicitor or a potential thief scoping out your place, since they have unmarked cars, wear what ever they want to, etc. USPS still uses official vechiles here locally. They usually have a uniform too.
