One of my ganders must have a death wish. He fights with the other gander and when I have Fin break it up and call him back, that stupid bird attacks my dog. i don't let him bite the stupid bird and he just flattens him ..... But it takes some convincing for that idiot to stop. I mean what does a goose weigh ... 15 pounds of there about and that bird brain charges at a 110 pound German shepard. Just now he went for all four dogs and they re calibrated his butt and I got there just in time or the young ones may have started to take the squeaker out of him. The admiral is going to PA fro 8 days tomorrow and I am contemplating to have me some goose.

Spring time hormones are sometimes a terrible thing.

I'll wait till the laying season for them is over and see if he returns to his normal ornery self. If not i won't call Finnigan of when when that goose goes into his attack mode

When my twin brother and I were kids on the farm we would have a rooster, occasionally, that would whip all the other roosters and scare my sisters. We would cut a piece of cardboard about 12 in. long and around 8 in. wide.

We then, would take a bailing twine cast off from a bail of hay, tie a loop in it that would fit down over the roosters wings when folded together upright and would fit around the bottom of the wings on his back when laid back down.

Poke a hole in the card board, tie it to the twine about 10 in. behind his tail feathers, then let him go. He would about run himself to death trying to get away from what was chasing him and the other roosters would whip him.

If the goose belongs to a female you may have to run as we did when mom discovered it.

Reading this sure glad that I did not pour the evening drink or it would have been sputtered out on the screen
