Animals Only OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2,307 Western Michigan	Went to Florida to see my uncle. He said he had something for me. He went and got his old 16 guage Remington 11-48. Asked me to take good care of and enjoy it. I told him I would be happy to use it and pass it down to the grandkids. Came with a beautiful hand made leather case. He has given to me my father's and his first single shot shotguns that were given to them from my grandfather. AKA: Rusty Shackleford

He shared that his 'family idiot' had used it to shoot starlings off the barn with modern shotshells and his father took it and placed it into Dad's hands with the same warning I got. The next modern shotshell in it will mark the last day you own it. Dad has passed but I will honor his warning.
