Pump up your airguns, Wisconsin hunters! Evers just signed 2023 Wisconsin Act 115 (previously SB586) that requires the DNR to allow airguns during any season that firearms are already allowed. Just like the firearm restrictions, it will have to be considered "reasonable equipment" so there is no set minimum pellet size or muzzle velocity.

2023 Wisconsin Act 116 also redefines muzzle-loading firearms for hunting purposes to now allow the Traditions NitroFire.

Why don't they just do away with muzzleoader seasons? They have strayed so far from the original intent, its just a season extender now.

Manufacturer lobbies win again.
