Yesterday, I saw "Kratom" being advertised in the window of a liquor store. I never heard of that word, so I googled it. It's a mild form of opiate that grows in Asia. Some type of evergreen, I believe. It's legal in most states. Well, that's just fine and dandy. Just what this country needs, more choices of opioids.

Oh no, people have the freedom to choose whether or not to put a plant into their own bodies. The horror!!!!
Quick, let's outlaw it and expand the police state to enforce it.
(BTW, never used it, I have no plans to either. Drugs are for losers. But freedom is awesome, even when it means freedom to do something I don't like.)

Quick, let's outlaw it and expand the police state to enforce it.
(BTW, never used it, I have no plans to either. Drugs are for losers. But freedom is awesome, even when it means freedom to do something I don't like.) Problem is that it doesn't affect just them. Not by any means. 100,000 dead last year from opioids. Cities are in ruins, drug addicted homeless living in the streets. Civilized people can't even go to the stores anymore, walk the streets in safety, or even live in their own homes without fear. Politicians throwing our tax money at the issue. So, YES, IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. It affects everyone, especially those that don't do drugs. Your freedom ends when your actions affect my freedom.

X2 It affects us all when they take my tax dollars and fund govt sponsored rehabs for all these folks that get hooked on all the different forms of crap out there. If loosegoose really that naive that it only affects those individuals , I feel sorry for him. Good grief.
