Some of my dad's old comic books, from the late 50's or early 60's, had a full page ad with a kid on a bicycle, who had a machine gun, BB gun mounted on the handlebars. As the kid is riding along, there are lines of BBs firing out hitting birds, a squirrel and a rabbit. All their eyes have Xs over them. The birds are falling from the sky and a limb, by a nest. It was a great ad.

I don't have one, but when I was young the carnival game with them was a must stop for me! Is that the game where you had to shoot the star out of the target and not leave any red? My dad got banned from that game at our local fair. He'd take a couple shots to see where it was hitting, then proceed to shoot it out by making a square. They didn't like how much he won. My mom told him he should've lost a few times to make it seem like he didn't know what he was doing. He told her that he spent a whole quarter on that and he'd be danged if he wasn't walking away with a prize. Those stuffed critters became our targets for sighting in rifles that fall.

not sure about the BB gun an old boss of mine had one of the Freon type , he made an adapter to run it off a scuba tank. but I never got to try it. he said the most fun thing to do with it was write your name in glass as it was coming apart of course that also made a terrible mess.
I got to try a real MG the other day all on the up an up a legal MG owned by a manufacture FFL with all the papers at their test range.
they call it the Giggle switch for a reason , the first time you flick that around past semi to auto and let off a burst , you can't help but giggle.
I can't say how long you would keep giggling once you saw your ammo bill.
their design was very controllable and that is about all I can say about that. it wasn't hard at all to get very controlled 3-5 round burst all holding on target.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
