To our valued customers and supporters,
It is with great disappointment and sadness that at this time we must inform all that due to environmental and financial issues and the extreme cost of materials and overall operating expenses, we will not be able to relocate and resume operations. Also, due to a shrinking industry with not enough work to support a full-service operation we must sadly say goodbye.
We want to thank all who have supported Tubari, LTD over the many years of operation and thank you for your business and friendship. At this time, no re-opening is scheduled.
Our very best regards and wishes for success to all in the future, Marc Berman, Jesus Zuniga, and Michael Mennea

That’s too bad!
Prices are really cheap in the States to have fur tanned. Profits are minimal at those prices.

Give them credit for hanging on as long as they did. Can’t really see a business case for a tannery in the states. Overhead and EPA regs would be enough to kill it. Throw in a bunch of whinny trappers wanting their Georgia coyote to come back looking like and an Alberta pale in two weeks for $20 would too much.

Is this just hearsay or have you seen anyone send a Georgia coyote in? I’d like to see the coyote, lol!!

International does that in Winnipeg. Remember you will be dealing with customs and F&W going across the border. You might check with international to see what their procedure is.

Has anyone seen any input from them on the work they had in process? I do not recall seeing that mentioned in any of the Tubari threads.

I hate to hear this. I’m glad I was able to get some beaver plucked, dyed, and sheared from them. They turned out great. Hopefully another tanner will be able to offer the same process… It wouldn't surprise me if Moyles is thinking about it.
