I'm the ones holding the reins then! Vinke is getting ready to ride it bareback.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I worked a team of Percheron Stallions one summer between college semesters, skidding logs. They were big, but dang sure not that big.

Yes, he was among the biggest on record. I forget his name, right now. His shoes had to be hand forged as there were none that fit. Thanks , Scott. It’s a classic powerful shot every time I see it.

The part right under the tail?

As far as those big draft horses, no matter how big they look in a picture when you stand beside one they look even bigger

He rides bare footed, no need for spurs! God gave him some.

I was assigned a Percheron by an elk hunt outfitter. The horse was named dozier. He would often take shortcuts along the trail and I am convinced he was trying to scrape me out of the saddle by walking under low hanging limbs. He was a beast of a horse. I weighed a little over 250, so he was assigned to me. I needed a stump or rock to help me get up in the saddle. He was afraid of his shadow. We rode in an out of camp during a full moon that casted a slight shadow.

Good name though, Lufkin. That horse was Brooklyn Supreme. 19.2 hands tall , over 3, 200 lbs. I looked him up again.

LT, Hercules is a dandy of a name for a powerhouse of a horse, or a man . You are still right on.
