Nope, swimming is a must. Many Filipino cant swim and they live on islands. I had Sal in the water at a cpl weeks old and so far he has completed 5 yrs lessons . We swim alot.

When we are talking about being hit on the head, the ability to swim really isn't an issue.

My dog taught me to swim when i was 5. He swam across the creek and barked for me to follow so I just imitated him. My folks were amazed when they found out I didn't need lessons, already knew.

The deeper it is, the farther I can swim.

I can't imagine not being able to swim and getting in a boat without a life jacket. Heck my kids and I all swim well but alwY wear life jackets.

I was draining 55 gal barrels that float a fishing dock. Was using a handyman jack screwed to the ramp to lift the dock to get the barrels out. The screws pulled out when I least expected it.

My wife can't swim! been trying to help her learn to swim for 30 years.

if there was water, if it was summer, I was either fishing or playing in it. By the time I was 5 or 6 I could swim pretty good.

not well - but I like to think that I swim well enough to get me to shore -- only been tested a couple of times and boy, water temp makes a huge difference.

If people can swim it just seems the ones that cannot swim just don’t want to.
