Somone might find this interesting. Just some some bore scoping of the barrel on my latest build was gonna go with a ballistic advantage ( nothing but good reviews about them and their very cost effective could have gotten some nicer stuff but honestly didn't see the need ) but idk what's curious just how bad a $90 non brand specific battle could be ? How would it look on the inside ? Is this a case for barrel break ins ? Abrasives? Can a half decent reloader make it shoot ? Questions questions questions

Looks like they rifles it with a jagged rock. Most of it looks like it will clean up ok but that throat looks terrible. It really looks to me like the rifled it after it was chambered or they chambered it a way to high of an rpm. The finish reamer must have been a piece of rusty rebar.

Nothing 500 passes with the lead jag and lapping compound wouldn’t cure. L O LOL you still have a $95 piece of crap do yourself a favor save up your nickels and dimes and buy a white oaks arms A.R. style barrel and I guarantee you you will see a vast difference in the throat in the lands and grooves. Just remember you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s here.

My concern is the quality of steel is as poor as the machining

I often wonder how people afford to buy crap. Instead of purchasing 2-3 piles of poo, buy one good thing. Lot less crap lying around, and what you actually have has value….

Well the fact this build originally was gonna be using HV cast bullets don't wan to drop the cash on something nicer and just lead it up. That and I'm just curious.

Perhaps buy a good barrel and shoot good manufactured bullets.
