I never knew they could be that colorful! But you can keep them all down there in the swamps.

This is the biggest I have seen up close. Ps this one was in South Carolina. Don't have much for snakes here at home. Sorry don't have any pics of the cotton mouths just this copperhead.

Copperheads are one of the prettiest snakes! But I will kill everyone I see. Around here a CH is a $1000 veterinarian bill. Don’t trust them either. At least our timber rattlers are lazy acting.

I never knew they could be that colorful! But you can keep them all down there in the swamps.

Years ago on here someone brought out the fact there is 3 different brands of cottonmouth's, until then i thought they were all the same. Those colorful one's like that I think were called the Florida cottonmouth. Those big hulking one's live up in the northern part of our state, no idea why they get so big up that way.

If this copperhead would of come slithering up a few seconds earlier, we would of met up close and personal.

That's another reason I wouldn't want to live down south. We don't have those nasty critters here in MN.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

You can keep those things as well as anything else that slithers and slides. Much sooner deal with the bears then those things.
