Came out of my grandparents stuff

Any idea on the maker?
No markings that I can see and it is in good enough shape I am just going to clean it and use it

with what you showed here is my guess
tear drop handle , that font , no break in the heat ring
although it seems to be missing the raised letter at 6oclock or can't see it in that picture

Lodge Manufacturing Co. - South Pittsburg, TN

1900-1910 "Blacklock"¹ ²

Skillets have outside heat ring
Raised size number on top of handle
Raised molder's mark letter on bottom at 6 o'clock
"Smashed T-shaped" handle reinforcement rib
² Lodge founder Joseph Lodge was a partner in The Blacklock Foundry, predecessor to Lodge Mfg. Co. That these characteristics describe a Blacklock skillet are conjecture, as no marked Blacklock skillets are known to exist. A collector guide book includes a photo of a skillet with the above characteristics in its Lodge section and asks "could it be from the Blacklock foundry", but with no further elaboration. Collector groups have attempted, inductively, to fit skillets with these characteristics into the Lodge timeline.

Regardless of maker, that is a good one by the looks of it. Nice crisp casting and smooth, like above would need to see the bottom to clearly identify.

With a heat ring .....it's at least made in the 1920's

So you got a fine 100 year old skillet

it might be more accurate to say a heat ring with no notches is earlier rather than later

Lodge made a heat ring skillet till the 1960s but it had a break at 3,6,9

Clean it up....then season it...and you’ll have a fine piece of iron

https://www.castironcollector.com/forum/threads/lodge-8.1032/

maybe a 1910-1920 https://www.reddit.com/r/castiron/comments/k2ulqw/just_bought_this_arc_logo_lodge_8_circa_19101920/
the heat ring was still the same but the were marked lodge , although with decades of seasoning you sometimes can't read the light inlet lodge logo opposite the handle
