Im curious to see how many people waterfowl hunt im the area you trap. Could hunting a river system or beaver pond where you are trying to trap fisher, bobcat, and coyote ruin chances at catching fur? I have a few spots that I have scouted for bobcat and fisher this next season but they are also great locations to waterfowl hunt.

Clean you ducks and geese on the location and start a carcass pile with the scraps. I bet it would improve the location
Don't set your traps right at the pile though

I trap for a large timber company, mostly beavers, but occasionally predators. These properties are leased to different groups for hunting. This company pays me to trap, so this is different than your situation.

When doing predator control on any hunting club tract...1st place I search out is the carcass dump.

Sometimes I encounter the lease members and determine that they have killed beavers while duck hunting. They also share that many of their members have thermal scopes and predator calls. It is what it is.....as long as they leave my gear alone.

I kill plenty of game while trapping.
Not a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it at all.
