I just got an adjustable stretcher for putting up coons. I was wandering how i am supposed to pin the tail down to dry??? Any help will be apreciated. This going to be my first year putting up coons.

Put apiece of cardboard on the wood stretcher and tack it to your main board. Then just tack your tail on the cardboard. You could also use thin soft wood and do the same thing with it. The best thing to do , is use solid boards.

Use a piece of stiff cardboard.

soild coon boards are way less trouble and i think ya get a better looking pelt with em.
