I have a Bradley Smoker (digital with 6 racks) that is finally falling apart. I mainly smoke trout, venison jerky and ribs. To replace the one I have would cost about $650.00. What's your favorite smoker and why?

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

I have the same Bradley smoker you do. Mine is still doing good, although I had to install a door latch recently to keep the door sealed up good. I'm sure to be in the same boat as you are, soon. I really like the ease of use, set it and forget it, of electric smokers. No help here, but I am interested in what other folks are happy with.

I've got a pitboss. I know it's not like an offset stick burner but it's so easy and the food is very good. I use it once or twice a week in the winter and way more often in the summer. You can cook any meat on it, though I do still have a small charcoal grill for the very rare occasions when I buy expensive steaks. Chicken, I do wings for hot wings, bbq whole or parted out, boneless breasts, hind quarters, etc... Pork I do ribs, chops both thick cut and boneless, butts, shoulders, loins, buckboard bacon, etc... Beef I do cheaper steaks, briskets, ribs, burgers, meatloaf, etc... I use it a lot more than I ever thought I would.
