Gang, I’ve got ants invading the house.. what do you guys recommend to get shed of em? Tired of wrestling with them

I use it , works great.

Be careful with borax if you have pets .
50 50 borax and sugar desalved in water.
I like to break up some bread in small pieces and put it in a sealed container.
Soak it up good with the disalved solution.
Make holes in the container for ants to access, they will take it back home and helps rid the nest .

Call an exterminator.Around here it cost around $130 a year and they come 3 times a year.Keeps ants,bees and all kinds of creepy crawlers out.

What kind of ants? It makes a big difference; carpenter ants, sugar ants, etc..

This is a good one for black widows and wasp nest it annihilate them and they don't build back for a long time.

The Terro liquid is great for the small house invading ants, basically a sugar water and borax mix.

Once the ants find it they bring it back to the nest and lights out. might take a couple days for a large colony.

This but leave them alone and in a week or so they’ll be gone

I need to find out what my yard guy sprays. He sprays once a year for weeds and ants and you can roll around butt naked in the grass with no stickers or bugs of any kind getting on you. You can set a bowl of sugar or honey outside and no bugs whatsoever.
Now if anyone has a recipe for gnats I’m all in!!

If you are talking about Buffalo gnats which we never had years ago. Only thing I found is vanilla extract that is applied like bug spray and it keeps them off me

How to rid property of fire ants?

One year I had pee ants invade my mailbox. I didn't want anything poison for the mailgirl to get into so I just put a can lid in the back of the box with a spoon of sugar in it covered with a little ivermectin. It takes a little longer but works. I also use it under the kitchen sink.

My son used some fire ant granules on his ant hills but said it was like playing whack a mole. kills one hill and another pops up.. He ended up with some guy that sprays the yard with something, guaranteed against ants, tick, fleas, maybe scorpions, lol. It does the job. I'm not comfortable with a mass spray of toxic chemicals, but I don't have fire ants.....

Malathion mixed in sprayer they are gone. I messed around for year buying every thing under the sun nothing works like Malathion.

Spray a 2 foot high 3 foot around fire ant hill with it, they are dead and gone.

optiguard ant gel. I fought ants in the house for 3 years this stuff works! They carry it back to the nest and it will kill the whole nest.

I thought so too, was battling a large colony, or several, and it was taking longer than usual to eliminate them, so I called Terro, they insisted it's the same formula as ever and to give it more time. I did and it worked, this was 2 years ago, I have since used the same bottle and it has worked every time...

When I lived at the coast, ants would short out HVAC parts.

Permethrin. We spray it for cattle flies. Deadly on ants. 1.5 Oz per gallon, spray around outside of house, ants won't come in. I use it to knock out hills close to house and hvac unit
