What are they treating you for with antibiotics if the tests and cultures are negative? You must get tested properly (bacterial cultures of sinus smears and bronchial phlegm), otherwise you're just breeding multiresistant bacterial strains, destroying your kidneys/liver and achieving nothing. Also, cultures might not show the pathogen if you're currently taking antibiotics that are suppressing its active proliferation. It seems obvious, but there are plenty of incompetent idiots among doctors/techs and a nonzero risk of encountering one (here, for instance, they have this new habit of following protocols blindly, and prescribe Augmentin for all respiratory/dental infections indiscriminately, skipping the culture step, and all that they've achieved is that Augmentin has pretty much lost all its original efficacy).

With a recurring bacterial infection, there's often a source of infection somewhere. With sinuses/respiratory tract infections, it's often the teeth, especially the upper teeth roots, because they're often too close to the sinuses or even poke through the thin sinus bone. Sometimes an unchecked dental infection can even dissolve the maxillary sinus wall and become a permanent source of respiratory infections. It can be asymptomatic otherwise, but get a good dental xray/CT (and someone competent to look at the shots) if you haven't.
