We used to have a small mom&pop restaurant here that only sold goulash. About a dozen or so types on the menu. Sadly , they just closed as the owners were getting too old and the family didn't want to take it over. In business for about 40 years. Good place to eat , decent food , affordable. Gonna miss them. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/04/full-3135-215347-th_1764167615.jpg)

Now you know where the expression comes from: "A Mom & Pops Place". Sad to see such a neat place close.
More and more when I go anywhere I find myself keeping track of where the nearest rest room is.

If you look closely in the pics , this place was in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Houses all around it. Predates most zoning laws. Place was kinda hidden , even longtime residents didn't know of the place. Small but cozy inside , maybe seated 20 max. It was a converted home made into a eatery. I think the owners lived onsite.
