Took the little that I had left to GFW visiting NW Pennsylvania this afternoon. Was pleasantly surprised to receive $20 frozen skinned and $28 for boarded beaver. Pretty good turn out, and left with a better feeling for next year.

Fireplug and walleyed, made the run to Mt Morris to meet the G-Wagon. Guy ahead of me had some of the nicest red fox I have seen here in NY. If that was you, Fireplug, you have great skill in putting up fox. My frozen beaver drew 28 and 22 dollars. I was more than happy with those prices. Like I said in another post, the money was not the important thing in this fur. It was the reconnection to my ground and critters that made the experience priceless. Please pm me and I will tell you where you can send me the money that does not matter.

Slick Pan, "the money was not the important thing in this fur" should have been a clue that your presumption was inaccurate and poorly placed. I do hope you get what you need out of your trapline, as for me.... the money will never be the important thing, and I will continue to chase my memories. Those have proven to be priceless and will fund the rest of my life happily. Best thoughts, imlvt.

Once you have been on here for at least a decade you will come to understand that most of the people on here are Cyndi Lauper trappers. They just wanta have fun. Groeny needs these people.

If the money doesn't matter then tan all your fur and make garments out of it. You should not be selling them. You also should put your fur up as that's part of the total experience. I can tell you who the money matters most to and that's the person you are selling it to. They are not doing it for entertainment.
