I encourage you to make it work and it looks like a pretty well-built building. I have one 20x10 on skids and I believe they are 4 of them on 4x4's. Looks like a great project and it sure can be rescued and put to good use.
I like your inspiration and your way of thinking and I believe it would make a fine shop for you. Good Luck keep us posted on your dream.

YT. I feel and appreciate your desire but from those pics, I'd pass on spending $$ and time on that project.
Any chance it can stay where it is now for you to use? It can't as it's on my boss's property and about 8 miles out of town. The pic is really bad, the building has never been used since it got moved which is why there's all the bracing in it.

It seems well built enough for my use, it's going to be way better than my current one, that's for sure. It's cheaper to put it on 4x6s than it is to put it on 4x4s, so that's what we're going with. It looks rough but that's all part of the process, it could be worse. Thank you! I'll probably put up a thread once it gets out of the planning stages and into the doing stages.

What does the outside look like? I don't have a very good picture but here's the only picture I have of it. Need some paint and that end closed up and an actual door put in but other than that, the shingles are in good condition and the vinyl siding is in good condition.

So it was moved there? Looks like those 2X6 or 8s were put there to hold it together for moving. Also looks like another 1 on the other side of the building. Any wood rot? Correct, it was moved there by the previous owner of the property and my boss wants to get rid of it since it's in his way and he has no use for it. To me, that's exactly what it looks like and those 4 2x10s or 2x12s in the middle were balanced and sat on the rails of a trailer of some sort and moved to this property. I haven't looked around much but the roof doesn't have any rot as far as I can tell. The only concern I would have is the bottom/sole plate being rotted since it's directly on the ground but this area drains well and I have no clue how long the building has been there. So I would say, if there's wood rot that it isn't much and should be fixable.

ok so first thing is you will have to jack it up so you can build a floor use 4 runner, and 2by wood for the floor, make sure the floor[skid] is square, measure corner to corner, to make sure its square. looks like it was a pole building, so you will have to put a bottom plate on the building, from beam to beam all the way around, do this while you have it lifted. you can put a sandwich floor to insulate the floor later,

That is very worthy of having a purpose and making it work. Good for you, just needs some care and some work for you to get it home. You got a plan and the desire that is all one needs. Way cheaper than starting from scratch. I recued a 100 plus old small shop in way worse than that and has been a great building for us. Had a few people tell me it isn't worth saving. Well, I saved 1000's of dollars and have less then 500$ into it. I got free tin and 4x4 timbers given to me. All it took was some of my time and I putzed at it over time and has been a great building.

This will cost a little more than 500$ but it will still have saved me 1000's of dollars by the end of it compared to buying new and building from there. I'm going to try to use salvaged materials for most of the inside work and not use all new lumber and such to save a few bucks on the whole project. My biggest thing with it is that it will teach me some valuable skills that I can later apply in life when I have to do stuff like this again or other general carpentry.

Well done!
