The other day my buddy showed me a can of peas & carrots- I forget the brand and didnt take a picture, that had a cancer warning on them. Any guess as to what country they were made/packaged? I think I will pay extra and stick with Green Giant or Del Monte. Unbelievible.....

Reading the label on a can of 'Polar' brand oysters, at Wal Mart, it said contains lead and cadmium. Cadmium is way more toxic than lead. I brought it to the attention of a 'shelf stocker', and eventually they stopped carrying that brand. READ THE LABELS. Charlie

Not too sure on that; but, I was always a little Leary when my mother told us to "eat every bean and pee on your plate."

During WW's 1 and 2, The Government allowed bakery's to add sawdust to flour as a way to stretch out the grain. To this day when you read the ingredients list on a loaf of bread it may say "Added Cellulose".
