just wash in regular dish washing soap (Dawn, etc.) ?

then let them air out a few days...

what do you guys do?

Rinse with warm water and let dry in the sunlight.........reusing jars: wash with soapy warm water and rinse, then sterilize in boiling water for 5-10 minutes and dry out in the sunlight.

My hero's have always been trappers

I also use ethanol on the outside of the jar before applying labels for a nice clean jar that labels will stick to

appreciate everyone's patience with my dumb question.

I guess I was worried about manufacturer's oils and soapy residue from washing them traditionally.
