About as good as as I can do right now
I've heard as I start shooting it, it will naturally start curving around into a bun

Sharon it was spur of the moment. Later I thought of the tail and wish I'd of used it. If nothing else to generate some conversation grin

With this bunch it's always a liability to ask for personal pics....
On a side note that wasn't no artificial insemination picture.... it was genuine spit in the dirt, cowboy ingenuity that created that picture

Not sure about showing you how it's down but will post my results. Will say I've never reloaded a rifle cartridge in my life, so it will be a new adventure when i get to that point. First try a handful of factor loads then start working on the bedding.
Part of the reason I went with the 6.5 CM as it is suppose to easy to load for.

So I deep dived it a little and yeah the development of the creed along with with reamers and all , basically make it ok of those deal where it's kinda hard to not have one shoot decent. It's a lot of gunsmithing mumbo jumbo, talking about shoulder angles distance to lands along with modern bullet tech... I'm not qualified to really explain it but yeah the fact all the rifles are being made with modern more up to date what evers to kinda match the bullets out there just make work.
That being said it's also caused tom problems with people trying to use it the exact same way as older similar cartridges ... But that a big long rabbit hole that I'm not super qualified to talk about

I promised pics. After a ton of loads, practicing with different powders, primers and bullets (because of lack of skills at reloading on my part), and some help from Boone, I think I'm there or as far as I'm going to go.

That pic is 1.07 group at 400 yds. I'm happy with that for a $430 gun. It shot a fair number of groups in the
.2s but consistency has been kind of a struggle but I think I got that worked out, time will tell. I like the gun as far as accuracy and works ok for a play around range gun but my one complaint about it is it's feeding. I was able to tweak the mag and make it better but not good enough I'd be happy with it for a hunting gun. I bedded the action and the barrel. Did get consistent .3 groups with Norma target ammo too.

Been a fun learning experience

Started out with some match bullets that shot all over the place and some primers that performed terrible in the loads I was working on then throw in couple powders that weren't all that consistent and as a new reloader with a new gun I was about fit to be tied.

After about 300 rounds and trying about every load development method you can find on the internet I THINK I got my method for load development and loading methods established.
