Been 6 years so had to drive the 2 hours to Caribou Maine to get my driver's license renewed.Rained a little but was a nice trip.

They don't do mail in's?

They do so long as the license hasn't expired or isn't a commercial license. I had mine renewed in December. I had to make the drive as well.

They tried reintroducing them years ago. They didn't take. Not sure why.

Over 62 so needed an eye exam and my license is a
cdl license.

Georgia doesn’t charge vets so when I got mine renewed in my 30’s my license expired in the 2030’s when I turned 65. That stupid license caused more issues than anything else. Anytime my license was needed everyone thought it was fake! Georgia finally came out with a new license and I got one of those and told them I wanted to come back no later than 10yrs, lol.

Same here. Sixty-four and hold a CDL.

Haven't been to the secretary of state for 16 years to renew a license. Just got my new one and I look like a kid. If I ever have to show it, they won't believe it's me.

I had to renew mine 3 weeks ago. They didn't send a reminder and said that they would not in the future. No mail ins. They want to see each person and do an eye check. Said all the dis-placed new immigrants caused this.

The Caribou did not take due to brain worm they caught when kept for awhile in Orono by nearby deer and then lead poisoning after being released.
