Much more work and labor intensive. Daily work. Snakes don't need messed with a few times a week if that. Also less mess. Not something I would want to eat unless I was very hungry though. Maybe so but a chicken can't rap the coiles around you .

Considering with the correct genetic stack and presenting colors my daughter can get $2,500 plus out of a hatchling eating them makes little since.
In warm climates and the starving 3rd world eating them because they are readable available would make since. Or sense.

Good catch, I would use the 3rd 16 hr shift in a roll as an excuse but that would be dishonest. Infact after my 3 Rd I got off helped a cousin with a welding job stopped by American Legacy fishing store and pick up a bate caster rod and real for my 13 year old. Eating at a Mexican place and heading back to work with zero sleep for 12 or 16 hrs. So I'm used to very little to no sleep.

The ball pythons Providence Farm is talking about max out at 4' and at most weigh 5 pounds. Most ball pythons don't even get that big. They are not large enough to be dangerous. Ball pythons are also picky eaters and unlikely to eat animals they aren't used to eating.
Keith Truth. My daughter brought up articulated pythons because they lay more eggs and boas. I didn't tell her no but did tell her I was not fond of have snakes around that are stronger than I am . She thought for a second said good point and that was the end of that. Honestly having snakes at all was a stretch for me but my daughter is smart made a good pitch and there is that daddy daughter thing where daughters had daddies wrapped around their finger thing that came into play as well.

Everglades has enough problem without adding to it. Can see where these could become the next Pit Bulls.

The economics of feeding something meat in order to produce meat does not sound good. That and I wonder just what the feed conversion rate is on a reptile with a known slow metabolism.
