Finster OP trapper Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 17,118 Fredonia, PA.	I decided to re-coat the camper roof. This is 100% silicone and supposed to have a lifetime guarantee. It looks great, and I think it will outlive the camper. At least as long as I own it. I did quite a bit of research and this is the best stuff I could come up with. The coating, brushes, rollers and tape were just under $400. The stuff I used. It's much cheaper at Home Depot than Amazon. This is before, after scrubbing. You can start to see some of the black rubber showing through if you look closely enough. Just started here and I'll be putting on two coats. All done with two coats. If I get 10 years out of it, I'll be a happy camper. I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 19,020 Green County Wisconsin	my front porch is a >20 year old rubber roof so far has had nothing put on it , I have been thinking about doing this treatment to that , is that what on the camper under the first coat? 10x25 so not far off the size of the camper America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

However, no one ever tried roughing up the back side of that tape with a little fine sandpaper. Say some 320 grit? I think it would stick if that were done.
