Handyman is the correct name. I once used one as a winch anchor to get my 6x6 unstuck from an Alaskan bog. Couldn't even open the passenger door, the mud was so deep. Regular winch anchors just pulled out; so grabbed the Handyman, turned it upside down, pushed and pounded it over 4 feet deep, hooked up the winch and it worked like a charm.
We also used once used two of them with a little shovel work to jack a telephone pole out of the ground.
