I wish I had some sort of mini baling equipment I could use on the yard when the grass was tall enough.
Keith Me too. Mine was so thick and wet that it was all my mower could handle. Then it leaves behind piles of messy chopped up stuff that turn all the grass under it yellow and brown But if you wait any longer it doesnt get any better. And its not even wet here this spring My bees might like yard not mowed but the postage size portion means little in this country relative the thousands of acres of spring alfalfa that are bright yellow with dandelions right now

I figured that mowing on May 30 still qualifies as "no mow May" since the last time I mowed was during the last week of April. I think I'll bale it. Keith When I had chickens, I'd cut the grass long and than go over it with a raker and throw the clippings in the chicken pen.

The way my new goats are eating grass I may not have to mow all year. My gosh do they like grass. I brought the 4 home Thur night & already had to move the 16x16' pen last night.
That'd pretty cool. Raising them for meat or milk?

Well, it is officially June now so we can all fire up the Brush Hog's now. Actually, I probably won't Brush Hog anything until around the 4th of July. I have mowed the lawn 3 times already though.
I have nothing clever to put here.
