Cubs won the series today. I didn't get to watch it, but I'll check out the highlights.
Go Cubs Go. Go CUBBIES!! Once the cubs get the bullpen figured out,,, they are a legit playoff team. The best starting pitching rotation in baseball right now… and the top notch defense of Busch,Swanson and hoerner on the infield (2 gold glovers) happ, bellinger/Armstrong, tauchman/Suzuki outfield…(1 gold glove) I’d love to see another cubs World Series. The cubs also have depth… lots of top prospects in the minors as well. I can’t remember exactly how many cubs prospects are in the top 50.. but I know it’s quite a few.

I beg to differ that the Cubs have the best starting pitching rotation in baseball. CBS Sports has them ranked 10th.
Get the broom out, the Phillies just swept the Giants.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I read somewhere the Bluejays pitcher has the best ERA in baseball, so far the Phillies pounded him for 8 earned runs. I've been a Phillies fan for over 70 years, I do not ever recall a run like the Phillies are presently making.

Man the cards suck! Lol. Adc is smiling I'm sure I'll be smiling when the Cubs quit blowing games. Starter tonight went 8 1/3 scoreless innings and the Cubs only managed one lousy run through 7 innings. Now they are down 2-1 and will be dang lucky if they don't lose another one tonight.

Cubs squeaked out a win somehow. Royals really screwed the pooch tonight. 2 outs and no one on base in the 9th, and they give up 3 runs to lose to the lowly Brewers. I thought Kansas City had it in the bag… I could not believe it when I saw that bottom of the 9th that the brewers took the lead. Imanaga pitched another gem tonight.. 42 plus innings and eventually gave up a homer,, still not too shabby. I think counsel should have brought in Ben brown instead of having shota go over 100 pitches, to keep his era intact…but he still has a phenomenal era and we got lucky with Busch’s bat

The woes for the cardinals continue to plague them,,, Loosing Wilson, today, to a broken arm is bad. And what makes it worse,, is that the injury could have been prevented. The coaching staff suggested that Wilson move up a little closer to the batter to get more calls on the low strikes.. The backswing from the batter caught him squarely on the forearm. Cards fans already want marmols head on a pike… Ill bet they are lighting the torches and looking for the pitchforks tonight

Off day for the Cubs today. They needed it apparently the way they have been playing the last few games. The Phillies tasted defeat today. You can't win every one, but it looked like they were going to. lol

Yelich finally back in the lineup yesterday for the Brewers. Knocked the rust off and now offense is scoring a little easier. Also helps the brewers are playing the lowly cardinals.
