bblwi OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 East-Central Wisconsin	I have zone 2, period C turkey permit so Wednesday May 1, was my first day. Out early and spooked 8 deer standing between my two blinds. Saw two hens about 9 ish in the AM. Took a couple hours to mow lawn, make jam etc. Back out in early afternoon. Made a coupld calls and two toms emerged about 80 yards out. Took 15 minutes to get in range and I took the closest one. He was 23 lbs. with a 10 inch beard, but shorter spurs, like less then 3/4 inch. All done and gear and equipment are stashed and turkey in the freezer. I have taken 6 toms the last 8 years at this sight and I checked today everyone was from 22-24 lbs. I must be getting all 2nd year toms. In all those years I have never had a jake in shooting range. Really a nce day to be a field. Bryce

bblwi OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 East-Central Wisconsin	What kind of jam Bryce ? I mix 1 part tart cherries, 1 part rhubarb and 1 part raspberries. I put that mix through a processor and then I use about 1/2 the recommended suger and I use brown sugar, then ad the pectin and then freeze. I make freezer jam and make about 3 batches per year. this batch made 9 8 ounce containers. No I have not mastered the photo stuff yet. Infact I did not take a picture at all this year. Bryce
