Oil changes, brake pads, 3 new switches for the trunk( 1 under warranty and 2 from Amazon at $12 each, timing belts at 100,000 and 200,000, alternator, thermostat housing, and an oil cooler have been only mechanical needs. The 1.8 motor is pretty solid. The 1.4T is junk.

But out of all the Cruzes that come through the shop where I work only one customer has the 1.8 motor. Your entitled to oxygen. Everything else is earned.
