Do any of you have any recommendations for rice alternatives?

I was having some issues that have been determined to be caused from allergies. So I had to have testing done. I knew I had hay fever but with the issues I was having we were more concerned about foods. As it turns out I am allergic to most all pollens plus rice, coconut and a touch of peanut. I had gotten where I was using more and more rice in my diet and now I need to cut it out. So I am wondering if anyone here has had a similar issue and what substitutes you have found that you liked?

Thanks in advance.

I never heard of a rice allergy, but there's lots of things I never heard of,
As for alternatives, maybe try bulgur wheat, wild rice, whole oat groats, for a grain substitute. The oats take longer to cook but taste good...

Local honey. If it doesn't kill you it may cure you.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
